Be it known that ELEANOR CAROLINE PEASE late of Hobart in Tasmania widow deceased
died on the 31st day of December 1946 at Hobart aforesaid
And be it further known that on the 21st day of July 1947 the last Will and Testament of the said deceased was proved in the Supreme Court of Tasmania and that at the date hereunder written administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased were granted by the aforesaid Court to
HAROLD PEASE and
both of Hobart aforesaid Builders sons of the said deceased and
LENARD LOVETT of Hobart aforesaid Electrical Engineer
the executors named in the said will.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me ELEANOR CAROLINE PEASE of Hobart in Tasmania Widow I REVOKE all other Wills and testamentary dispositions by me heretofore made I APPOINT
my sons HAROLD PEASE and ERIC PEASE both of Hobart aforesaid Builders and
my son-in-law LENARD LOVETT of Hobart aforesaid Electrical Engineer
Executors and Trustees of this my Will
I DEVISE to my son the said ERIC PEASE in fee simple
FIRST all my share and interest in the land and flats known as "Augusta Flats" situate at Augusta Road Hobart aforesaid
SECONDLY my house and land now known as number 15 Mercer Street Hobart aforesaid and
THIRDLY all my land situate at Bromby Street Hobart aforesaid
I BEQUEATH to my son the said HAROLD PEASE my Drawing room Rosewood suite Blackwood table with shelves odd brass candlestick brass fire screen red stairs and hall carpet all the books he gave to his Father small black table Ilkley picture (oblong) Drawing room kerb on clothes brush rack and brushes Mary's photo blue flower bowl bronz [sic] vase work stand one fire side set his Father's shirt studs and cuff links brown carpet and one black rug with his name sewn on it brown half tea service and plates plants in copper jardiners leather gladstone bag lawn mower and one pair garden clippers one half of pictures of Father's houses two pictures in Drawing room (a pair) garden hose and garden tools small wire safe and steps small cruet
I BEQUEATH to my son the said ERIC PEASE my watch and gold chain formerly belonging to his Father new dinner service which he brought from England the wireless and sewing machine my oil painting of fruit one half of pictures of Father's houses Blackwood tea trolley and tea tray two brown velvet tub chairs and cushions four dining chairs Blackwood gate-legged table water-colour picture with cream frame pair of small brass candlesticks blackwood bedroom furniture with green carpet green rug and large black mohair rug and pictures pine chest drawers with all contents black marble clock and my paint box three Indian rugs with fringe and one black rug two brass vases and Blackwood stand picture Ilkley Tarn Auntie Cissie's photo china vase given to me by him hald dozen tea-spoons with P on and Father's diamondglass cutter Father's photos and family group dining table and cloth two pictures each side of drawing room fireplace china cabinet and content one black and one oak table in hall one plant in brass jardiner my Bible given to me by him three bronze jugs wooden standing safe and contents gladstone leather bag hose pipe
I BEQUEATH to my daughter EDNA LOVETT the wife of the said Lenard Lovett my oak bedroom suite and one oak duchess chest on couch and two easychairs to match with cushions two basket chairs and cushions one pair tall brass candlesticks picture Ilkley White Wells dining room kerb her own children's photos two oil painted plaques in drawing room plated guard tea tray green cup and saucer and hand painted mug which belonged to Great Grandparents gold ring with Ruby centre gold chain brooch all light coloured cups and saucers in china cupboard three jelly glasses two cut glass tumblers and jug five large bread and butter plates blue patterned sandwich tray box afternoon tea forks Doulton bowl with two men's heads on oval plated cake dish two plated tea pots and one large cruet fawn stairs carpet and rods my personal wearing apparel the curtains rugs pictures and wash-hand service belonging to the room formerly occupied by her in my home at Lindisfarne
I BEQUEATH to my grand-son PHILIP LOVETT my Kruger Sovereign and Bible formerly belonging to his Grand-father two medals and new razor set in box Vacuum Cleaner electric toaster large electric globe in drawing room picture "Charge of Light Brigade" blanket box and cream bedstead and bedding
I BEQUEATH to my grand-daughter JANET LOVETT my engagement ring of sapphires black umbrella scrap book and two terra cotta plaques china lemon squeezer Biscuit barrel my long squirrel fur
I BEQUEATH to my grand-son CEDRIC PEASE my gold watch and chain Grandpa's two medals writing desk and content formerly belonging to his Grand-father photo of grandpa and myself in rickshaw at Durban Photo of Grandpa's ancestors
I BEQUEATH to my grand-daughter JOAN PEASE my opal ring and necklace my short squirrel fur my work basket and contents one photo album one cream rocking chair 1 striped umbrella
I BEQUEATH to my daughter-in law MARIE PEASE my stainless cutlery forks spoons and sugar tongs dark coloured cups saucers tea plates and two sandwich trays five large bread and butter plates salad set plate sugar bowl and tongs round plated cake disk with salt and pepper containers electro plated tea pot with strainer plated and glass jam dish
I BEQUEATH the residue of my house-hold furniture and the residue of my articles of domestic use or ornament to my sons the said HAROLD PEASE and ERIC PEASE and my daughter the said EDNA LOVETT in equal shares
I DECLARE that all specific devises and all specific bequests made by this my Will or any Codicil hereto shall be free from all duties both Federal and State
I DEVISE the residue of my real estate AND BEQUEATH the residue of my personal estate to my trustees hereinbefore named UPON TRUST that my Trustees shall sell and convert into money such parts thereof as shall be of a saleable or convertible nature and get in the other parts thereof AND I DIRECT my trustees to hold the moneys to arise from such sale conversion and getting in and any ready money I may die possessed of UPON TRUST thereout to pay my debts funeral and testamentary expenses including all probate estate and any other duties payable on my death in respect of the whole of my estate UPON TRUST for such of my said grandchildren the said PHILIP LOVETT JANET LOVETT CEDRIC PEASE and JOAN PEASE as being grand sons shall attain the age of twenty one years or being grand-daughters shall attain that age or be married under that age my said grandchildren if more than one to take in equal shares
IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand this eighteenth day of March One thousand nine hundred and forty three.
